They’re gonna wash away.”

“It wouldn’t have mattered. There wasn’t any more that you could have done. She was — she was dead before you put her on the table.”
LOST SCENES
“Is that Vincent?”
That is definitely not Vincent, or is it? (I love the theory of Jacob being Vincent btw. especially in the pilot, he’s always watching). Anyways, this scared the hell out of me when I watched it in 2004, can you believe it’s been almost 9 years? This show changed my life, but let’s not get into that. The reason I like this scene is that it sets the genre for the show, this is no ordinary place, what the hell is that thing in the jungle and why does it make that sound. I remember reading so many theories about this.

LOST SCENES
“1..2..3..4..5”
This is the start of the famous count to five. They just met each other, Jack shares this story with Kate and they bond immediately. It’s great to have this really calm and intimate scene after all the crazy shit at the beach.“You’re not running now”
We know Kate’s story. Which makes these words mean so much.

Kate: They’re gonna kill Sawyer! I’m sorry! I’m so sorry! But she said that if you do it, and you do it soon, they’ll let us go!
Jack: And you believe them?
Kate: I have to.
Jack: It wouldn’t have mattered. There wasn’t any more that you could have done. She was — she was dead before you put her on the table
Juliet: Are you just saying that to make me feel better?
Jack: I don’t care about making you feel better.
